About For the Trades
There is a desperate need for tradesmen and women these days and getting into the trades is a surefire way to success, a high demand career, fulfilling work and quite importantly a living wage and beyond. Unfortunately becoming educated and equipped with the right tools to work in the trades is a barrier to working in them.
That’s where we come in.
Here at For the Trades we help those looking to enter the trades by helping you find and get into a trade school and we also help connect you to industry professionals for that critical hands-on experience. We’re also a big fan of equipping young tradesfolk by helping provide high quality tools to those who need that extra boost to learn in school and start their careers.

Get to Know Us
For the Trades was founded after reflecting on our past experiences, awareness of current trends and our love of high-quality tools and passion for the people and trades that need them to be successful. We came to realize that there is a shortage of trained tradesmen and women and an overabundance of college education and student loan debt. We believe that the solution to this is to help plug people into the trades by helping connect to schools, programs and by providing equipment to ensure success.
Our leaders come from a mixed background that includes some without college education and some with college education– education that prepared little for the real world – which is our motivation to help others to find the right trade, education and tools for success.

NECA San Diego
The NECA Show is the largest event in North America for the electrical construction industry, attracting highly qualified professionals seeking the latest products, technologies, equipment, and solutions. Attendees have the opportunity to compare competitive products, talk with company executives, and find the right to benefit their firm's efficiency and profitability. As the industry continues to evolve, the NECA Show remains the go-to event for leaders to discuss the ever-changing business climate and expanding scope of work.
IHACI’s 44th Annual HVAC/R/SM Performance Contracting Product and Equipment Trade Show
The Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries has been organizing the Annual HVAC/R/SM Performance Contracting Product and Equipment Trade Show for over 40 years. This-day event, held in early November at the Pasadena Convention Center in California, attracts 100 exhibitors and 3,000-3,500 industry professionals, including contractors, business owners, distributors, manufacturers, technicians, facility managers, utility companies, building officials, and future HVAC technicians. The event is free all attendees, but registration is required. IHACI also hosts seminars throughout the day to educate and benefit the attendees with questions, tips, and updates.
